The second graders met with their business partners again for their Spring session. Kraig and Marie Nelson brought in some items to teach the students about planting in the spring. The students got to explore some farm equipment, coloring pages, different crops, and even planted their seeds! Thanks to the Nelsons for giving us this learning opportunity!
4th grade got to visit Sunnyside Care Center last week! They got the opportunity to learn about nursing, life enrichment, administration, food service, maintenance and all the things that make Sunnyside such a great place in our community. They even got to sample some cookies and play "volleyball" with the residents.
Thank you to Sunnyside for providing these opportunities for our 4th graders.
The first-grade class visited a family farm to experience the process of making maple syrup. They got to taste the sap from the tree, see the process, and taste the syrup on ice cream.
We would like to thank Anderson Family Farms for the awesome experience.
