The 3rd graders had a great time learning about different types of farms at Ag in the Classroom this week!
The Fourth Graders (and teachers) got all geared up for the big game today! They celebrated with Football Friday and got to play fun football themed math games, read about the Super Bowl, and even create their own standing goal post and football. Happy Super Bowl Sunday!

Session 1 of STEAM club kicked off last week! Here's the 3rd and 4th grade group.
Ms. Gordon's 5th grade class completed the Minnesota Timberwolves' Read to Achieve Challenge. Each student read over 500 minutes to receive a prize package, which included a ticket to a Timberwolves' game. Way to go 5th graders!

1st Grade Students were blazing their own trail in that nature area at recess today!
Thank you to Detroit Lakes Noon Rotary for their generous donation of dictionaries to our third-grade students! We had a great time learning how to use them with a dictionary scavenger hunt.
There will be some LPA gear for sale at conferences at the elementary tomorrow!
Second graders had the opportunity to ride in the combine and grain carts on Friday! What an opportunity to start thinking about agriculture as a career path! Thank you Jake and Angie Nelson for being our business partners this year!
