Elementary students finished up Raider Academy by participating in Olympic inspired games created by the 5th and 6th graders. Over 75 students attended the two summer sessions. Students received books, brushed up on reading and math skills, and enjoyed time with classmates.

Today LPA Elementary celebrated their Minnesota School of Excellence Award. LPA Elementary this past year was one of five schools in the state to be recognized with this award given by the Minnesota Elementary Principals' Association to schools whose principal, staff, students, and community demonstrate strengths in leadership, vision, student learning, the culture of adult learning, data decision making, and community engagement. This acknowledgment will be valid through 2030 with LPA Elementary carrying this distinction since 2008.
