Last week, Mrs. Anderson's 2nd graders joined Mrs. Frank's 3rd graders to kick off the New Year by revisiting classroom and school routines. They enjoyed reviewing schedules, sharing classroom activities, and discussing the various roles of people in our school. It was a fantastic opportunity to come together and start the year on a positive note!

Please remember that all volunteers will need to pass a background check. If you're interested in contributing to our children's growth and fun, please email Roz at rhowery@lpa.k12.mn.us.
Thank you for your support!

Good Morning LPA Families,
We are thrilled to start the school year in our newly constructed and renovated building. ICS has put in tremendous effort to prepare the space, and we deeply appreciate their dedication. To ensure everything is ready for our students, we are postponing the first day of school for the elementary grades (Pre-K to 6th) to Monday, September 9th (preschool will start with parent class on Monday evening). However, the high school (7th to 12th Grade) will begin as scheduled on Tuesday, September 3rd.
As a result of this change, we are rescheduling the Back to School Night for preschool through 6th grade to Thursday, September 5th. Please see below for additional details about our Back to School Open House.
Kindergarten Families: Scheduled meetings will take place on September 3rd and 4th, and all kindergarteners will begin school on September 9th. Please check your email to schedule a meeting with your child’s teacher if you haven’t already done so. An email was sent out last week with more information.
