Welcome to September! The football season has started, and our coaches can't wait to start shaping our players at a younger age so they can teach our athletes how to play the game while encouraging their desire to participate in all grades. They teach how to do things the right way, the Raider way, both on and off the field.
We hope to see you in the stands!! Go Raiders!

Thank you to the Becker County Museum for letting our third graders come in and check out the new facility. They enjoyed all of the hands-on activities that led them to be creative kids.
Last week 5th Graders visited MnDOT and learned about different jobs they do to keep our roads and bridges safe. They also toured the Ike Fischer farm and learned about wildlife habitats, bird migration, water quality, forestry and the sawmill. Both days were fun and informative.
LPA 4th Graders got to visit Sunnyside Care Center and learn about all the different areas that make it such a great place! They visited social work, food service, maintenance, administration, nursing and life enrichment. They got to play beach volleyball with the residents, have fresh cookies, walked away saying “Sunnyside is the best” and wanting to go back and work there when they’re older. It was an awesome experience for all involved!
Students at LPA Elementary are showing their kindness to teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week! Today we had some amazing helpers pop, bag and deliver popcorn to the staff! Thank you to all of our wonderful teachers!

Mrs. Stalberger's first graders have been participating in a Postcard Exchange program this year. There is one first-grade classroom in every state involved with the exchange. Friday morning each first grader was responsible for three postcards to mail off to the other states. Besides meeting the friendly and patient postmaster, the first graders really enjoyed getting a receipt at the end of the transaction.
Ms. Sangren's first graders turned into superheroes for wacky Wednesday.
5th graders worked together to build a bridge with the help of MnDOT.
