Exciting news: Sunday Open Gym at the High School has returned!
We're reaching out to you, our valued district parents, for assistance in making this a successful program. We need 3-4 enthusiastic volunteers to help supervise the open gym sessions at the Elementary School on Sunday afternoons. This is a great opportunity to engage with the community and support our children's activities.
Please remember that all volunteers will need to pass a background check. If you're interested in contributing to our children's growth and fun, please email Roz at rhowery@lpa.k12.mn.us.
Thank you for your support!

The cooler air has set in, this is just a reminder that LPA residents have access to the Cormorant Community Center. So invite a few friends and you can enjoy the walking track and weight room together. There are also Pilates & Yoga classes offered multiple times a week. The events calendar is available on their website and shows class times. Please spread the word and share this post.

Dear Parents,
Due to the power outage in Lake Park, we will be returning cell phones to secondary school students so we can alleviate any concerns you may have in contacting your child in the event of an emergency. We do ask that if you need to contact your child, please text first and try to keep conversations to a minimum.
Thank you,
Dr. Godfrey

Lake Park Utilities has decided to undergo unplanned power outages this week. Unfortunately, the district was not informed. Today we were able to manage serving our students but may encounter further outages throughout the week. If you have concerns, please call city utilities and issue those concerns.

This is a reminder buses will only run one route during early outs. When students are released at 1:15 p.m.(elementary) and 1:30 p.m. (high school), buses will transport students home. We will have supervision at the elementary for any students not riding at that time. If parents do not pick up their elementary student by 3:20 p.m., the student will need to attend Raider Care. Please be advised that there is a cost for this service. High school students will not have the option to stay later than 1:30. Our first early out is this Wednesday.
