This week's "Tip of the Spear" award for LPA Robotics goes to Will Askin! Will took on the tall task of breaking down 3 years' worth of old robots to supply us with plenty of material to prototype with! It was a tedious task and Will happily deconstructed the bots! Congrats Will!

On Jan 10th, NHS led by Melanie Vickmark and an 8th-grade Leadership class taught by Kaila Capouch, plus a couple of girls basketball players headed up to Fargo to participate in Feed My Starving Children. Our crew of 34 packed rice and essential food for 2 hours. Our goal was to fill as many boxes as possible to be shipped to countries all over the world that are in poverty. Together there were a total of 1500 people including many schools who were felt inspired to make a difference. When our shift ended, we all gathered and were told we filled over 1500 boxes. This means 940 kids will be fed for a full year giving them HOPE for tomorrow.
